Is your child looking for something FUN to do this Spring? Could they benefit from a high-energy, creative program with other kids their age? Rising Stars is back at Sage for an extended 11-week session of singing, hip hop dancing, and acting! Great for building confidence and discipline in kids of all ages, with any level of performing arts experience. Taught by professional choreographer, playwright, and performer, Kerith Telestai, or as Sage kids call her, “Ms. T." Tennis shoes, water bottle(s), and work-out clothes recommended. (Snack also recommended for 2 older groups.) We’ll usually meet outdoors, so please have campers come prepared for the weather. Rising Stars has become very popular at Sage, so this session is expected to fill up fast--first come first served! Your child’s spot is secured only once registration and payment are complete.

Please commit to attending every class for the full scheduled amount of time, and only register if Rising Stars can be a priority for your child. We cannot accommodate family vacations, doctor’s appointments, homework, parties, sports, other extracurricular activities, etc. The exception is April 3, since that is the beginning of Sage’s Spring Break.  If your family is going out of town, that would be an acceptable day to miss, as we will be focusing on review and skill-building instead of learning new material relevant to the performance.

• If your child is also in ESage, they will walk over to Rising Stars.

However, ESage usually leaves on their field trips during the

Rising Stars time and does not arrive back to Sage until later in

the afternoon, well after Rising Stars is done. Please be sure to

arrange for your your child to be picked up by a parent from

Rising Stars and taken to the ESage field trip location.

• For the middle and high school group only,

unsupervised “early time” has worked out

just fine in past sessions, if students want to

calmly hang out and eat lunch together. As

long as that system continues to work

without causing problems, I’m great with it.  :)
