Private Voice Lessons for Females or Hormonally Female Voices
Kerith currently has the following openings in her voice lesson schedule:
Thursdays at 4:20
Contact her here to schedule a lesson or to be placed on a waiting list for other time slots.
I offer lessons for female vocals in 6th -12th grade. I hold lessons at my apartment in East Boise, and I do have cats, so this only works if my students are not allergic. I typically do a 60-minute session for $50 once a week, and accept payment at the time of the lesson or in advance. If a family would like to pay in advance for a 4-lesson bundle, I can offer a discounted rate of $45 per lesson. I allow one “skip” every 3 months, either a cancellation or a planned miss. If a family needs to cancel a lesson or try to reschedule to a different time or day of the week, I require at least 48 hours notice. If myschedule changes and we aren’t able to find a time to meet that week, any pre-paid money will roll over to future lessons.
Because I have a broad background in singing and was classically trained, we can work on whatever style of music my students would like, as well as general vocal technique & safety, increasing vocal range, ear training, goal-setting, performance aspects, song-writing, and even recording with our professional-grade vocal microphone. We’ll work hard, but it’ll be a lot of fun, too!
I am taking lots of precautions, covid-wise. First and foremost, students must be fully vaccinated. Students wash their hands upon entering my apartment, and they have their own area in the great room. A high-quality air filter is placed between us, and we are 6 feet apart the entire time. For especially “breathy” warm-up exercises, we face away from each other. I open the sliding glass door for better ventilation, I sanitize the student's area before and after their lesson, and hand sanitizer is available to use whenever they feel they need it.
Friday Enrichment Programs at Sage International School:
Rising Stars is trying something new with a 14-week extended session--wow! This will give us even more time to develop lasting friendships and hone our skills with new theatre games & activities as well as extra rehearsal time. Musical theatre has never been so fun! For beginners and experienced performers alike, Mrs. T. will lead each group in singing & rapping, hip-hop dancing, and acting. Sure to build discipline and confidence in all campers! Our youngest campers will learn and perform a sweet story about friendship, our 4th & 5th graders will tackle 3 Brothers Grimm tales (comedically modified), and our oldest campers will tell the myth of Persephone & The Seasons using elements of Greek and Japanese Kabuki theatre.
Tennis shoes, water bottle, snack, and comfortable clothes recommended. Since class is being held outdoors, please prepare for the weather (sunscreen & hats, layers of clothing, ski jackets & mittens, etc.) We will meet outdoors with social distancing and no masks as long as the weather isn’t miserable, in which case, we will move indoors where masks will be required. Masks will also be required for bathroom breaks. Therefore, please send a mask with your student to every class. Please monitor your child’s health and do not send them if they have any symptoms of Covid-19. This class is expected to fill up; first come first served. Your child’s spot is secured only once registration and payment are complete. Please commit to attending every class, if possible.
Extended Session: 14 Fridays! February 4, 11, 18; March 4, 11, 18, 25; April 1, 8, 22, 29; May 6, 13, 20, with a performance on the last day (times TBD)

Drawing on the theme of kindness, we will be learning songs and dances that emphasize showing kindness even when it's not easy. We'll tackle issues of race, gender, age, religion, socioeconomic status, disabilities, and politics, and discuss how, no matter what, people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. We can use these differences to become an even stronger, more compassionate group.
