Private Voice Lessons for Females or Hormonally Female Voices
Kerith currently has the no openings in her voice lesson schedule.
Contact her here to be placed on a waiting list.
I offer lessons for female vocals in 6th -12th grade. I hold lessons at my apartment in East Boise, and I do have cats, so this only works if my students are not allergic. I typically do a 60-minute session for $60 once a week, and accept payment at the time of the lesson or in advance. If a family would like to pay in advance for a 4-lesson bundle, I can offer a discounted rate of $55 per lesson. I allow one “skip” every 3 months, either a cancellation or a planned miss. If a family needs to cancel a lesson or try to reschedule to a different time or day of the week, I require at least 48 hours notice. If my schedule changes and we aren’t able to find a time to meet that week, any pre-paid money will roll over to future lessons.
Because I have a broad background in singing and was classically trained, we can work on whatever style of music my students would like, as well as general vocal technique & safety, increasing vocal range, ear training, goal-setting, performance aspects, song-writing, and even recording with our professional-grade vocal microphone. We’ll work hard, but it’ll be a lot of fun, too!
I am taking lots of precautions, covid-wise. Students must be fully vaccinated with the newer "bivalent" vaccine. Students wash their hands upon entering my apartment, and they have their own area in the great room. A high-quality air filter is placed between us, and we are 6 feet apart the entire time. For especially “breathy” warm-up exercises, we face away from each other. Weather permitting, I open the sliding glass door for better ventilation, I sanitize the student's area before and after their lesson, and hand sanitizer is available to use whenever they feel they need it.

Friday Enrichment Programs at Sage International School:
Is your child looking for something FUN to do this Spring? Could they benefit from a high-energy, creative, program with other kids their age? Rising Stars is back at Sage for a 10-week session of singing, hip hop dancing, and acting! Great for building confidence and discipline in kids of all ages, with any level of performing arts experience. Taught by professional choreographer, playwright, and performer, Kerith Telestai, or as Sage kids call her, “Mrs. T." Tennis shoes, water bottle(s), and work-out clothes recommended. (Snack also recommended for 2 older groups.) Our youngest campers’ program will be about being empowered to be yourself, our middle group will tell the sequel to our Fall program about bullies and upstanders, and our oldest campers will do some playwriting together to enhance an existing script about monsters. We’ll meet on the playground outdoors, so please have campers come prepared for the weather. Rising Stars has become very popular at Sage, so this session is expected to fill up fast--first come first served! Your child’s spot is secured only once registration and payment are complete. Please commit to attending every class.
